Yodha first-day box office receipts, preliminary reports: Yodha, which has Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani in important parts, is having a slow opening weekend at the box office.
The movie Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani, was finally released in theaters on Friday. The movie opened to a mediocre reception on its first day, despite its lavish promotion, which included releasing the trailer mid-air during a flight. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is supporting Yodha, which is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
Yodha made Rs 3.98 crore on its maiden day, according to industry tracker Sacnilk (Data updated at 10 pm). On Friday, the movie’s overall Hindi occupancy was 11.72 percent. The cities with the highest occupancy rates were Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Chennai.
Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika, is a fierce rival to Yodha. After one week in theaters, Shaitaan brought in Rs 4.61 crore on Friday. Shaitaan has so far amassed Rs 84.36 crore in earnings in India.
Yodha debuted on Friday to unfavorable reviews. Shubhra Gupta, a film critic for Indian Express, stated in her review: “Our Yodha, fittingly, gets off with the best line in the movie: iss picture ka hero main hoon. You may or may not emerge unscathed from this cartoonish rigmarole.” Give a loud clap.
Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, was Sidharth Malhotra’s last theatrical release and received negative reviews. Alongside Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty in Rohit Shetty’s depressing series Indian Police Force, Sidharth also made his digital debut.
