New Delhi: Actors Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah denied rumors about their purported engagement in Vadodora, hours after the information went viral online. Raj sent a message on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, saying, “Hi everyone, To be clear, the news that you have been exposed to on social media is untrue and unfounded. Raj Anadkat Team. Munmun said, “This news is ridiculous, fake, and ludicrous,” to Times of India. Not a shred of truth in it. Furthermore, I’ll be honest: I don’t want to devote my efforts to this ongoing fabrication.

The explanation was provided just hours after a News18 source close to the pair claimed that Munmun, who portrayed Babita in the hit sitcom, and Raj, who played Dilip Joshi’s son Tappu, had exchanged rings earlier this month in front of their respective families. The insider stated, “The engagement took place just a few days back,” in reference to the ceremony.
It appears that the two traded rings in Vadodara, Gujarat. The family of Munmun and Raj attended the ceremony and have welcomed their relationship. Since Raj joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, they have started dating. It was clearly visible. Everybody on the sets was aware of it. Some were even positive that Munmun and Raj would eventually tie the knot. Consequently,

Trolls who made remarks about Munmun’s personal life were blocked. “13 years of entertaining people and it didn’t take 13 minutes for anyone of you to rip my dignity apart,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
