CUET-UG 2024: According to UGC chairperson M. Jagadesh Kumar, the deadline for submitting the application online for the CUET-UG 2024 has been extended to March 31, 2024 (up to 09:50 P.M.). Applications are available at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
CUET UG 2024: In response to requests from applicants and other interested parties, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday extended the deadline for submitting online applications for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate Courses (CUET UG 2024).
According to the updated timetable, candidates may register online at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, the official website to apply for CUET UG 2024, till March 31 at 9:50 p.m.

The UGC president had earlier, on March 17, stated that the entrance exam timetable will not be altered in light of the Lok Sabha elections; as previously scheduled, the CUET-UG 2024 will take place between May 15 and May 31, 2024.

The UGC Chairman had stated that following the completion of the registration procedure, the date sheet for the CUET UG 2024 would be made public.
Two new subjects have been added.
In a related development, the National Testing Agency reported that it has added two new subjects (fashion studies and tourism) to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) – 2024 in compliance with the directives of the UGC and CBSE. The purpose of these additions is to encourage skill subjects in a manner consistent with the NEP recommendations.
In addition, the NTA stated, “Candidates should be aware that individuals who have already turned in their online application for the CUET (UG)-2024 may include these topics in their application during the rectification period. However, there will be an extra cost (if applicable) for the candidate who chooses more subjects.

It is anticipated that the admission exam will take place tentatively between May 15 and May 31, 2024. On June 30, 2024, the results will be announced, albeit provisionally.

Scheme of examination:
There will be 29 disciplines and 33 languages. Any subject or language offered by the relevant university or organization may be selected by the candidate. In each language paper, the applicant is expected to attempt 40 of the 50 questions.
General Test: For any undergraduate program offered by a university where admittance is determined by a general test. Out of the 60 questions, the applicant is expected to attempt 50.
