Three Spanish teams—Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid—have a chance to advance to the semifinals according to the draw. The two Premier League sides who are still standing face difficult opponents: Arsenal, who include former rival Harry Kane in their ranks, will play Bayern Munich, while City will play Real Madrid.

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Kane gets another opportunity to take aim at his old opponents. The English forward, who has already scored 36 goals this year, will be licking his chops if he gets to play Arsenal in the European Premier Club Championship quarterfinals.

Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig 2-1 in the round of 16, while Manchester City defeated FC Copenhagen 6-2 over two legs.

Real Sociedad was easily defeated 4-1 by PSG, and Barcelona defeated Napoli 4-2 in Serie A. After a penalty shootout, Arsenal defeated FC Porto, and Bayern Munich overcame a first-leg deficit to defeat Lazio.

Borussia Dortmund terminated the Dutch team PSV’s run with a 3-1 victory over two legs, while Atletico Madrid defeated last year’s finalists Inter Milan on penalties.

The quarterfinals’ first legs are set for April 9 and 10, while the second legs are slated for April 16 and 17. Following that, the first legs of the semi-finals will take place on April 30 and May 1, with the second legs falling on May 7 and 8. The 2023–24 UEFA Champions League final will take place on June 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium.
