Official Link: BSEB Bihar Board 12th Result 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna released the Bihar Board 12th Result today, March 23. Students can view their results at the official BSEB websites, results.biharboardonline.com and bsebinter.org. This year’s pass percentage increased to 87.21 percent for all streams combined. The pass percentages in science, arts, commerce, and vocational are, respectively, 87.80 percent, 86.15 percent, 94.88 percent, and 85.38 percent.

This year, 5,24,939 pupils received first division grades, 5,04,897 received second division grades, and 96,595 received third division grades. 12,91,684 people in total took the BSEB inter 2024 exams.

The Bihar Board issued the solution keys for the MCQ-style BSEB inter questions on March 2. This year, the BSEB 2024 inter exams began on February 1 and ran until February 12. After the examinations are over, the results are released in less than 21 days.

With 6,17,334 students appearing in the scientific stream and 5,42,008 pupils qualifying, the pass percentage was 87.80%. In the arts, out of the total number of students who took the exam, 5,46,621 passed; in commerce, out of the total number of students who took the exam, 37,629 qualified.

According to a Bihar Board press statement released today, 1,08,202 students have transferred from CISCE, CBSE, and other state boards to BSEB in 2023 in order to sit for the inter-exams. However, it was 1,13,210 in 2022.

Applications for compartment exams and result scrutiny for Class 12 will be accepted by BSEB from March 28 to April 4. The BSEB compartment exams are for students who were placed in the compartment category; the Bihar board scrutiny is for applicants who are dissatisfied with the recently announced Bihar board 12 result and wish to have their copies rechecked to enhance their grades.

In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 80.15 percent; prior to this, the passing percentage had not crossed 80 percent. In 2019, the overall pass percentage was 79.76 percent; in 2018, the overall pass percentage was 52.95 percent. In 2021, the overall pass percentage was 78.04 percent; prior to this, the passing percentage had not crossed 80 percent.

In the BSEB 12th result, girls have often performed better than boys. Girls outperformed boys in 2023 as well. Top scorers in the fields of commerce, science, and arts/humanities were Somya Sharma and Rajneesh Kumar Pathak with 95.6 percent, Ayushi Nandan with 94.8 percent, and Mohaddesa with 95.5 percent.
